Prayer encourages, guides and protects the children and staff in a developing country where violence is increasing, family morals are on the decline, and poverty is growing. We are financially supported by donations mostly from individuals, families, and from the mission fund of a couple of churches. We are pleased that 100% of each dollar received by FHC is used to support the operations of the ministries in Ecuador. It’s About Kids is a California non-profit corporation, with IRS tax-exempt status. A financial statement is available on request. The majority of our financial support is from the U.S. It’s About Kids does not receive economic support from the Ecuadorian government. Contributions are tax-deductible. Our children at the projects in Quito and in the jungle range in age from 4 to 18 years old. Most of the children will remain with us until they are READY to be on their own. After that we still maintain a relationship with them. Your sponsorship enables us to do our best to provide all that the children need. In many cases a sponsor-child relationship becomes a long term friendship.

Our service to you is to help you choose your sponsored child, and then provide you with updates which include photos.  If the child is able, you can receive personal mail from that sponsored child.

Sponsorship is from $50 to $200 a month per child depending on what needs will be covered (i.e. education, living expenses etc.)

All correspondence can be sent to ron@itsaboutkids.org. You can write to us at any time to enquire about your child or any concerns you have about your sponsorship. Sponsor letters sent directly to the child will be printed and given/read to the child. It is not a requirement to maintain communication with the sponsored child but you are invited to do so. The children are delighted to hear from their new friends.
